Montgomery Trace Ride

The Ride: a 367 mile ride through the East Texas countryside covering FM 149, the Montgomery Trace. The ride included stops in the historic communities of Navasota, Anderson, Plantersville, Montgomery, Brenham, Chappell Hill and Burton. Memorable stops included visits to the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville, the Anderson County Courthouse, the Blue Bell Creamery in Brenham and the burial site of the famous Texas Ranger, Leander McNelly in Burton.

Day 1: From Austin to Navasota; Anderson; Montgomery Trace Loop; Brenham;
